  • Business Development Manager Benelux 2022.09.13

    Position Summary
    In conjunction with EU market team, this position is responsible for the overall coordination, the functional management and leadership of sales activities in the assigned industries. Main applications for the assigned markets based on Absen segmentation are related to Data Visualization and Commercial Displays LED product lines for fixed installation projects including meeting rooms, auditoriums, reception halls, control rooms, cinemas, retail chain stores, shopping malls, etc as well as for Rental and Stage markets including corporate events, concert, touring, festival, public events, broadcasting-rental, virtual applications.

    Position Title: Business Development Manager Benelux
    Location: Benelux (home office)
    Reporting to: Benelux Market Director

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Develop and implement the Company strategy for the business development of specific markets assigned to the candidate, with special focus to open new opportunities in those industries, generating leads to ensure targets are met or exceeded in the designated markets.
    • Identify new accounts to sell LED products, develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to expand sales.
    • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals in coordination with the Benelux team accordingly in the designated markets.
    • Participate in establishing an annual Industry BP including target customer development strategies in coordination with Benelux team.
    • Represent the company at conferences, press and other related sales and customer promotion activities.
    • Direct channel development activity, approaching consultants, big end users, global top and medium sized AV system integrators, and coordinate distributors by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
    • Keep informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers.
    • Gather feedback through field activity and transfer the feedback to HQ. Feedback includes product, marketing, sales and service etc.
    • Preparation of monthly AP and quarterly industry situation reports.
    • Manage the communication with the customers and the headquarters during the implementation of the projects. 
    Other Duties and Responsibilities
    • Host customer visits to the HQ in China.
    • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
    • Work in coordination with HQ sales team assigned for Benelux market.
    • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
    Required Education/Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree or above with a major in Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration.
    • 5+ years in industrial product B2B, sales & marketing or project management, preferably in the AV industry.
    • 3+ years’ experience in projects related to the markets for this role with sales, marketing and/or product management responsibilities.
    Specialised Knowledge/Skills
    • Highly effective leadership, project management and communication skills.
    • Excellent client orientation around problem-solving and delivering products.
    • Ability to work in and maintain performance expectations in high-pressure environment.
    Language:
    Fluent written and verbal English and local language skills

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for visual inspection of RMA, evaluate, arrange, and reduce maintenance procedures and costs
    • Responsible for cooperating with HQ to formulate an updated repair plan
    • Responsible for the quality control of RMA and revise the repair report, and transfer it to the logistics team for delivery
    • Responsible for refreshing the RMA dashboard in real time, and synchronizing the RMA status, quotation and other information to the corresponding stakeholders by email
    • Cooperate to complete other tasks
    Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
    • Ideally professional experience in the maintenance and repair of multimedia equipment or LED-Displays
    • Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment

    In conjunction with Absen EU team, this position is responsible for the development of xR stage and Virtural production accounts (VP integrators, VFX companies, top tier production companies) and VP consultants in European market.

    Position Title: Director of Virtual Production - Absen Europe
    Location: UK/Germany (Remote)
    Reporting to: Absen VP International Business & Absen Europe General Manager

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Preferred extensive knowledge and experience in virtual productions. Familiar with the VP ecosystem and main players. Clear understanding of the xR stage and virtual production (LED Volume). Rich experience in Disguise workflow and other top-rated xR technology. Experience in traditional rental staging (RS) market is a plus.
    • Well-connected in virtual production industry especially with decision maker and key influencer, such as TV/film director, executive producer, director of photographer, and VFX supervisor etc.
    • Participate in making Absen Europe VP go-to-market strategy and sync with each sales region, follow through the whole sales process.
    • Leverage key RS consulting/design companies, creative agencies and professional production individuals to favor the Absen brand and VP products.
    • Attribute to xR stages & film production accounts development and on-going projects discussion and negotiation.
    • Integral role in key project demo shoot-out and value proposition. Travel with sales team and present VP product solutions, benefits and analyze customer needs and project info.
    • Gather feedback through field activity and transfer the feedback to appropriate company staff. This includes, sales, marketing, product management and R&D departments.
    • Monthly and quarterly report of virtual production market summary.
