During this year’s record-breaking ISE, ABSEN took to the floor to showcase its vast range of innovative high-quality LED solutions, dazzling visitors with eye-catching displays, award-winning products and a dedicated Virtual Production set at the AV and systems integration exhibition in Barcelona.
As one of the world's leading LED display brands with a global presence, ISE provided the perfect opportunity for the regional teams to meet face-to-face and reignite the team spirit heavily embedded in the company’s core values. Teams from Asia Pacific, the Americas, Europe and Middle East/Africa united to showcase Absen’s solutions from its wide range of innovative LED solutions, for both rental and fixed installs including: Virtual Production, DOOH, corporate projects, retail settings and gaming.
On display in the heart of the Multi Technology Hall was Absen’s new flagship Virtual Production solution, the PR 2.5, the new addition to Absen’s DOOH portfolio, the AW1.9, the CL1.2 Mirco LED solution, the PL2.5 Pro V2 for rental and staging and XR stages and the NX series which created a striking corner display on Absen’s large bustling stand.
In addition to its main stand, Absen also had an Esports & Gaming Showcase within ISE’s new Content Production and Distribution Zone for 2023. This immersive feature consisted of a 6m x 3m, 2.5pp LED screen positioned above a two-person gaming desk, which ran a series of interactive games for visitors. The feature was created in partnership with Big Purple Productions and display technology rental specialists PSCo, part of the UK's leading trade-only distributor Midwich. The gaming experience gave visitors a chance to compete against each other and win a range of prizes whilst taking part in an enthralling gaming experience.
At the show, Jessica Golding, European Brand & Marketing Director for Absen and Sam Gordon, co-founder of Discover:Esports and Director at Big Purple Productions sat down with Florian Rotberg of invidis in the ISE Content Production Studio, to discuss the technology behind the immersive gaming experience. During the week, Absen also hosted two panel discussions, the first with Inavate at its Esports & Gaming feature and the second with AV Magazine highlighting Absen’s Virtual Production solutions on its dedicated VP set.
ISE also gave the opportunity for Absen to highlight its sustainability campaign - Absen Green. This important initiative brings together industry leading efforts in sustainability, environmental protection, energy efficiency and corporate social responsibility to reaffirm the company’s commitment to a better future for all.
To cap off a successful week, Absen was awarded several industry awards including the ISE 2023 Best of Show, AV Technology Award for Absen’s new flagship PR Series and the AV News Award for AV Marketing Professional of the Year, which was awarded to Absen’s Jessica Golding, European Brand & Marketing Director.

Over the four exciting days we explored a variety of sale opportunities, won numerous awards, took part in speaking panels, videos and met with industry experts from around the globe, giving us the opportunity so show Absen LED at its very best. It was also a successful European trade show debut for our revolutionary new Virtual Production solution, the PR 2.5 and a chance for visitors to experience Absen’s DOOH solutions and VP and XR capabilities for the corporate market. We were also very proud to be a founding company of the ISE Content Production & Distribution Zone, allowing us the chance to develop our Esports & Gaming capabilities.”
