Absen partnered with Versatile to deliver the world’s largest monolithic LED virtual production volume at the Versatile AI Virtual Film Base in Deqing. Covering approximately 1,700m² within a 5,000m² stage, the record-breaking installation features a 270-degree curved LED screen measuring 50 metres in diameter and 12 metres in height. Designed for large-scale film and television production, the facility enables rapid scene changes, immersive 8K virtual environments and highly efficient content creation workflows, setting a new benchmark for virtual production technology worldwide.
