Official Statement on Absen’s Presence at ISE 2020

2020.02.07

In light of the recent coronavirus outbreak, and the latest information available, Absen hereby officially confirms its attendance at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam (February 11 – 14).

Firstly, as one of the largest Chinese exhibitors at the show, Absen takes the issue extremely seriously and would like to reassure any concerned exhibitors and visitors, that the company is sparing no effort to contain the spread of the virus, but also to ensure the continuing operation of its partners’ businesses globally. The company is also following closely the latest recommendations set by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the organisers of the show.

Absen maintains close communications with its partners and customers worldwide, who have shown overwhelming support for the company to exhibit at the show. Absen plans to exhibit at the show, albeit with a smaller delegation of Chinese employees, who have not been to Hubei Province over the past month and have been cleared to travel to Amsterdam. This is in line with the official advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO), the European Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (ECDC) and the Dutch public health authority (RIVM).

The European team of Absen, along with its partners, will be on the stand to meet and greet the visitors during show hours.

In Shenzhen, where the company is headquartered, all Absen employees in China have been working from home upon returning from the Chinese New Year holiday to support the business needs of its partners and to ensure the company’s operations in an orderly manner.

Our utmost priority has been and will always be to ensure the health, safety and security of our employees as well as the exhibitors and visitors of the show. Safety of the Absen employees and the exhibitors is always our utmost priority and presenting the full range of new and enhanced Absen products to the public in a secure fashion is our top concern. It’s during the challenging times like these, our thoughts are with the people who have been affected by the virus.
